This is my first attempt at blogging, though I've kept Open Diaries, Live Journals, Greatest Journals, etc in the past. They were much more personal or based on hobbies. This will be beauty, fashion and scent centric! I'd like to collect an audience and maybe even pass on a little wisdom. As a plus-sized single mum, it can be hard to feel included in an airbrushed, always perfect, constant media stream. I want to break a few taboos and explain how to be happy as you are, without the need for faddy diets or extreme self-punishment! There are places you can buy flattering clothes that don't make you wonder why they didn't just give you a bin bag instead. There are ways of accentuating your look. Being bigger isn't something to be afraid or ashamed of. Beauty is nothing to do with size and shouldn't be. Remember painting your nails as a child? Or trying different coloured lipsticks? Everything is trial, error and most especially, fun.
